Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation (KHEDF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In 2007, the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (WHCC) Chamber leaders worked diligently to create the Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation. The Foundation was formed to provide a platform for donors to make a tax-deductible contribution for scholarships and education initiatives.
KHEDF provides Hispanic students with the financial and educational resources they need to achieve college education and help Kansas be more competitive.
Since 2008, more than $341,459 in scholarships have been awarded to 238 Hispanic high school seniors in the Wichita metro-area
