The Kansas Hispanic Scholarship Program is funded through the Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation, (KHEDF) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in partnership with individuals, educational institutions, businesses, and corporations, to provide outstanding Hispanic students with an opportunity to purse a post-secondary education. KHEDF is responsible for the selection of scholarship recipients, all monies, and fiduciary responsibilities of the program.
Eligible to apply:
- High school seniors who are of Hispanic heritage (50% or more) with 2.8 GPA or above and enrolling as a full time student in a post-secondary institution
in the fall of the upcoming school year.
- High school seniors who live in Wichita, Andover, Derby, Haysville, Goddard, Maize & Valley Center are eligible to apply.
Certification & Authorization
Applicant must sign the application, certifying that all information provided is true and complete to the best of their knowledge. If later determined that information contained in the application is false or misleading, final awards may be rescinded.
Upon submission of the completed application, applicant grants KHEDF the right to use any information contained in the application for the purpose of promoting and publicizing the Kansas Hispanic Scholarship Program.

KANSAS HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
- Student must have a minimum of a 2.8 GPA
- Students receiving the WSU Admissions Institutional Award and Westar Energy must have GPA of 3.0 or above.
KOCH HISPANIC SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Student majoring in business or engineering will be considered for the Koch Hispanic Scholars Program scholarships. These awards are for $1,250 per semester renewable for four years.
